Melissa has enjoyed writing since young as it has been her outlet to express herself, share her thoughts and inspire those around her. Her first entries date back to 2004 when she first started documenting her daily chronicles on this space. Graduating from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor in Business and a major in Finance, she completed a Summer Internship in New York City and started out her career in a reputable bank before deciding to pursue her dreams in 2014— as an entrepreneur and content creator.
Being extremely grounded and driven in the pursuit of her passion, it has led her to working with many reputable brands such as Dior, Coach, Kate Spade, Tods, Carolina Herrera, Tiffany & Co, Swarovski, Singapore Airlines, Hotels and Tourism Boards around the world, just to name a few.
Through her enviable visuals, Melissa has been chosen to represent Fujifilm as their ambassador for 2017. She is also the exclusive spokesperson for Changi Airport Singapore.
Melissa is committed to the goal of giving. She feels for causes relating to the environment, the elderly & sick and the poor. She stands for Earth hour & WWF as their ambassador and is also the face and working partner to a local brand, Another Sole- where every pair of shoe sold is paid forward to the World Vision International in Vietnam.
She has also graced magazine appearances for brands like Max & Co, Bonia, Shu Uemura; profiled and featured by publications such as The Straits Times Singapore, New Paper and local magazines such as Her World Singapore, NuYou Singapore, Buro247, ELLE and Seventeen; and was the cover girl for SHAPE Magazine in Aug 2015.
While displaying a strong zest for life, Melissa strongly believes that every moment should be well-lived, celebrated and deeply appreciated. She hopes to build a tight-knitted community as she continues to inspire readers through her daily life, love story, travel adventures and style musings that she documents through this space.

about this relationship is our constant desire to make the other happy. James arranged a home massage session with @theoutcallspa pre-trip to celebrate our anniversary in advance! We are usually too tired to head out for massages so this is a perfect treat! We love booking sessions with them because we not only get to enjoy the massage in the comfort of our own home but their service and massage therapists’ are consistently good.
