Bananas are high in potassium content, a great source of vitamin C, excellent source of vitamin B6 (used to grow new cells in your body), contains magnese (necessary for bone health and metabolism) and a great source of dietary fibre (helping you to feel full longer and keeps your digestive processes running smoothly)!
Blueberries are super rich in anti-oxidants, vitamins C, K and B6. It has anti-inflammatory properties which some studies have shown, helped to improve learning ability, memory and even blood sugar levels. It is definitely my 100% ideal sweet berry — not too tart, no seeds to overcome and definitely a flavour and colour that overpowers, in a good way, of course. I really enjoy them frozen.
The key thing to note when making smoothies are that your fruits are 100% frozen. This will help to give your smoothie a really nice thick consistency. No need for any ice. We don’t like our smoothies diluted here.

Blend the above ingredients before adding your favourite toppings.
I added slice bananas, raspberries, certified organic chia seeds, milled organic flax, sunflower, pumpkin, sesame seeds and gogi berries (from Linwood) and finally, peanut butter.
