Singapore Coffee is located at Raffles Arcade at the prestigious Raffles Hotel. It is a cafe which specialises in the sourcing and blending of Asia’s finest coffee. Each signature Blend and Single Origin from the Asian Grand Crus Collection are carefully selected and roasted to release the vibrant notes of spices, fruits and flavours that are unique to the elevated terroir and cultivations across Asia.
The interior of Singapore coffee presents a beautiful classic colonial twist with local elements. I love the mirror reflection, wide open spaces and signature rattan chairs. The al fresco area reminds me briefly of the coffee shops in Paris.
Singapore Coffee prides itself on their finest selection of coffee beans sourced from selected plantations across Asia. We got to experience Singapore’s Kopi and some blends by way of Siphon, Pour-over and espresso extractions. The brewing methods were interesting and so fun to watch. We particularly loved the Kopi shake ($9) which was foamy with a rich chocolatey-after taste. To compliment the coffee, I highly recommend the Kaya Swiss rolls. The combination was divine. It was a quiet morning with a nice cuppa’ coffee in a pretty and luxurious ambiance.
