When shopping in town, I love hanging out in malls that offer a good mix of tenants. Mandarin Gallery (MG) is one such place that offers me almost everything I need under one roof.
From a list of my favourite restaurants to housing some of my most frequented fashion brands and shops like e-ti-kit, Bimba Y Lola and What Women Want, it is a real challenge not to get overwhelmed by all the beautiful clothes and not get drawn into impulsive purchases.
I always convince myself that shopping is like an investment being put in the right place (and time) gives you ample room to make well-informed and good decisions.
Personally, I frequent shops like e-ti-kit and What Women Want because they’re multi label stores, representing a nice curation of brands that I like such as Self Portrait, Thea by Thara and Shona Joy in e-ti-kit and For Love and Lemons in What Women Want.
Few weeks back, I managed to spare some time to join Liv Lo at the MG’s Silent Yoga before I got into the frenzy of Christmas Shopping. Following a productive day of shopping, I had a really good dinner at Lawry’s Prime Ribs. I’m not sure how else I could have made the day more perfect.
Considering that Christmas is now over and that there’s a mini post-holiday sale going on, I hope that you all will find yourselves some nice pieces for your wardrobe in time for Chinese New Year!
Maybe I should share some Chinese New Year outfit options next. What’s your thought?
