Following my recent partnership with Polo Ralph Lauren as their “Polo Girl” just last year (which was also featured content in Lifestyle Asia), I’m back in the BIG APPLE this New York Fashion Week for their presentation at the designer’s Madison Avenue headquarters.
Just focusing on women’s wear (even though I got a tad bit distracted by men’s, as you can tell above), POLO presented a beautiful FALL collection with models casually lounging on leather club chairs, and in some occasion mingling with guests.
I spotted 50 shades of grey, hues of beige, tan and brown in the most alluring knit wear, trench coats and beautiful fur vests. Among the tonal hues, I’ve fallen in love the the modern silhouettes of slouchy tailoring, oversized pieces, blanket scarves, tweed on plaid, hints of leather jackets and just plentiful of textured layering.
The styling of all the outfits definitely very well translated the spirit of POLO- a young modern woman, an eclectic downtown edge with an individual flair, easy, energetic, free-spirited and cool.
Now the next big question is: When will they arrive in stores back home?
