Here’s a piece of my latest project with Polo Ralph Lauren which I shot specially for their first ever local digital media campaign using an influencer like myself. It has been tremendous joy working with Ralph Lauren because it almost perfectly sums up my take on fashion and my love and passion for what I do.
Piecing together a lookbook with their latest collection left me spoilt for choice because I could not adequately decide on what to pair with what as almost everything went well with each other. I guess that’s the beauty about the clothing from Polo Ralph Lauren. They are easy to wear, quick to match, and just perfect for a free-spirited girl who loves layering and switching between sophisticated and classic to downtown, chic and bohemian.
Keeping to the theme “Friends of POLO”, I kept the tone light-hearted, fun and caught-in-the-act. I styled complimentary outfits for Jonathan according to whatever that I felt would fit the overall mood of the set. You’ll see a nicely tailored suit on Jonathan, and on me, a poplin shirt and beautifully fitted bell bottoms, to a pop of orange from my tote against a simple street vibe checkered set on a basic cotton dress, to the all-American classics mixing textures like tweed, cotton and denim, as well as a basic grey toned dress with a neck tie which I “borrowed from the boys”.
