A month ago, Club Med sent Jonathan & I over for a 3 day workation. I can’t believe how many activities we managed to squeeze in within the short span but there was still so much left on our list that we weren’t able to strike off. That’ll be left for my next visit back to Club Med Bali, hopefully soon.

Situated close to home, I love Bali beaches for the warm water, presenting perfect conditions for water sports and water related activities; the beautiful sand, and of course, the amazing Indonesian food that is like no where else in the world.

Club Med was the perfect resort getaway for us because it was a one-stop place with a private beach of her own, expanding over the horizon of the Indian Ocean; surrounded with endless tall coconut palm trees that just set the holiday mood right; not to mention pools of lotus and water lilies and Balinese architectural bungalows that provide a spirit of local essence.

My favourite moments were spent lounging under the bamboo parasols by the beach absorbing the sound of the waves crashing against the shore, the gentle sea breeze on my face, and in the most perfect company of my magazines and books.
By dusk, the Zen pool is my favourite hide out for some quiet and private time.
It was so refreshing and rejuvenating for my mind and soul.

Everything was taken care of, from food to transfers to stay to entertainment and activities. I really appreciated the beauty of this all-inclusive package, which made it extremely affordable for a quick 3 to 4 day getaway.

The island life was just exactly what I needed to destress, to take a break from the monotony of the everyday life and for me to replenish my creative juices. I was recharged and ready to face the week after I returned.
Jonathan once asked me to describe how my “ideal day” would look like: from waking up in the morning to how the day would progress, and then to the evenings and night. I think we actually lived it out during this amazing trip!

Thank you for this putting this together for us, Club Med Bali!
