Nestled in the heart of London’s West End, Le Méridien Piccadilly is a landmark hotel in Piccadilly Circus. I stepped out of Piccadilly tube station, took a 3 minute stroll and before me was the hotel. Surrounding me were the best of Central London’s cultural attractions including designer boutiques, shops, restaurants and bars. Starting on Piccadilly and extending to Leicester Square and Covent Garden, I would say that I was situated in the most prime district possible. Plus, it didn’t help my wallet that I was in such close access to all the shops from Piccadilly stretching all the way down to Oxford Circus. I was in a serious shopping haven.
Mornings were spent chilling in the amazing Terrace Bar, with loads of natural light streaming in, a hearty breakfast spread laid out before me, and in the accompaniment of my favourite books. It was indeed rejuvenating and extremely enjoyable– something I really needed to unwind and relax before rushing through the rest of the day that is jam packed with meetings and shoots.
My day would conclude with enjoying the facility of the largest indoor swimming pool in London. You know that kinda feeling when you get to dip in the pool after a good workout? I savoured every single bit of it.
It was difficult to leave London, and even more difficult to leave my home away from home– Le Meridien Piccadilly. Thank you for the amazing stay, I will definitely be back!
